The 4-day SourceTuning Basics Intensive workshop is designed for professional artists of all disciplines. You will learn the SourceTuning technique and gain insight into the various possibilities it offers. The SourceTuning acting technique, developed by Jens Roth, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
SourceTuning enables actors to experience a role not through their intellect, but through their body, perception, and intuitive body intelligence. In this process, the body—with its senses, vibrational frequencies, perception, emotions, and mind—is understood as a "source" and "tuned" to a specific role or theme frequency.

Participants should bring a work piece, which could be a character, an idea, or even a memorized monologue/text/song/poem/musical piece (approx. 1-3 minutes) to work on.
Cost: €400, reduced rate of €300 for alumni of Theater Werkmünchen.
Workshop times: December 8 & 9, 2025: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. December 10 & 11 2025: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Workshop extension of up to 1 hour possible in the afternoon)

As a Coach, I give you space to discover your personal expression. Prices for Acting / Artitistic Coaching / SourceTuning:
Individuell session: 60 minutes a 100 euros + VAT. - Online or with existing space.
Otherwise 110 - 120 euros + VAT depending on the room.
Workshop SourceTuning Basics 165 Euro + VAT ( 4 - 8 participants )
Individual introduction with subsequent source tuning, approx. 2,5 - 3 hours 300 euros + VAT
For two or three people 180 Euro per person + VAT. Approx. 3 - 4 hours

Education / teaching / advanced studies
In the meantime I have actually been teaching for more than 25 years and I continue with ongoing explorations in the fields of dance, movement and theatre and film.
I completed my dance and pedagogical training with a Bachelor's degree at the Rotterdam Dance Academy (now Codarts), in the Netherlands and specialized in contemporary dance, dance improvisation and dance theater. Acting studies there and in France and Germany. Since 2020 I have been certified as a SourceTuning Acting Coach (www.sourcetuning.com - Jens Roth).
My path as a coach and lecturer is colorful. While living in Brazil I gave performance training for actors and directors at the Universidade Federal da Bahia, mime and improvisation for acting students and instructed dance teacher students at the Fundaçao Cultural in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil. Over the years I have given choreographic support for theatre and film and trained the performers in spatial awareness, physicality and stage presence. I love to work in a wide variety of contexts, for example I have prepared blind and sighted colleagues (singers, musicians, actors, dancers) for a theater project. Or directed theater and dance workshops / projects for children and young people for Focus Tanz and the Junge Resi at the Bavarian State Theater. From 2019 to 2021 I taught drama and movement basics for young opera singers at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. I regularly teach performance, personality, and SourceTuning workshops for Theater-Werk München (advanced training for theater, film, opera, and dance). At the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, I teach scenic improvisation, acting, and performance skills for singers.
